Coimbatore: The District Collector K Rajamani announced that Rs. 19,425 crores of Annual Credit Plan (ACP) has been allotted for Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: The District Collector K Rajamani announced that Rs. 19,425 crores of Annual Credit Plan (ACP) has been allotted for Coimbatore.
While addressing the media, the District Collector said, "Every year, the NABARD bank allocates funds from banks as loan for each district in Tamil Nadu. According to that, Coimbatore has been allocated the highest amount at Rs.19,425 crores. This year's fund has been allocated as per the anticipated loan amounts for the year."
Out of the total of Rs. 19,425 crores, Rs.7440 crores has been allocated for agriculture, Rs.8673 crores for small businesses and Rs.3312 crores for other priority loans.
The Collector also noted that banks have also been instructed to install ATMs in the Valparai region and the public have been asked to visit banks from 10 am to 4 pm.
S Venkataraman, Manager, Deputy General Manager of Canara Bank, Ramesh, District Manager - NABARD, Isakkimuthu and other officials were present.
